How to Get a Metal Detector in Atomfall
There are two ways to get yourself a metal detector:
- Barter with Molly Jowett
- Find in Slatten Dale
Find in Slatten Dale
The easiest way to get a Metal Detector in Atomfall is finding it in the starting area, Slatten Dale.
Go toward the top of the map at the marked location seen in the image below. The location is near the Water Wheels in eastern Slatten Dale (29.0E, 73.9N).
There is a body of water at this location and a dead body that has a free Metal Detector for you.
Barter with Molly Jowett
The second method of getting a Metal Detector in Atomfall is bartering with Molly. This is only possible when you have enough resources to trade.
She usually agrees to give you the Metal Detector in exchange of the Rusty Shotgun.
But if you don’t have the shotgun, you need to match the value of the Metal Detector by offering one or more items for a successful trade.
