When we talk about important tools then we not only have to mention tools like the Flashlight and Metal Detector, but more importantly the Signal Redirector. It is not an easy tool to get and you will have to do some navigating.
There are two primary ways to get the Signal Redirector.
How to Get the Signal Detector in Atomfall
The first step go to 38.0 E, 77.4 N coordinates and enter the Protocol Workshop here.
When you enter the workshop, go through the door in front of you and turn right.
When you turn right, enter through the door and then turn left at the end of the small corridor.
At the end of the next corridor is the bathroom. Go inside the bathroom and crawl through the small opening in the stall to your right.
Go through the opening in the wall of the bathroom and jump down to the other side. Next you need to go under the pipes and reach the body at the end of the corridor. Loot the body to get the keycard.
With the key card in hand, we are going to Skethermoor at 41.5 E, 74.9 N.
There is another Protocol Workshop here but this one is guarded. You either need to kill the guard or sneak behind him to access the underground Protocol Workshop.
Enter the bunker and go straight down the corridor.
At the end of the corridor, turn left and enter the first door to your left. It is a green door and inside that room you will find a Windfall crate that has the Signal Redirector.
How to Use the Signal Redirector
The Signal Redirector helps you hack into junctions and redirect the power. Whenever you are at a junction box that has power going through it, aim the the redirector at it and wait for the device to light up.
Press “hack” when prompted and it will turn off the box or redirect its power to another junction box.
