Blue Prince tests players with various challenges throughout their journey. One of the biggest challenges players have to face in the game is that resetting of progress each day. However, some of the unlocks and upgrades are permanent, but the items you collect during your runs reset every day. Starting a new day without any of your collected items or an empty inventory can be quite frustrating for players.
While the reset mechanic is central to the gameplay, there is a way to keep some items in your inventory after calling it a day in Blue Prince. In this guide, we will explore the different ways you can use to keep items at the end of a day.
Before we explain the methods for keeping items after calling it a day, please keep in mind that you can’t save them all for the next day.
#1: Coat Check
You’ll be drafting many rooms in the estate, and one of them is the Coat Check. When you draft Coat Check, you can store one item from your inventory. If you place an item in the Coat Check before you end the current day, you will find it there when you start a new day.
There are quite a few valuable items that you need to store, such as Her Ladyship’s Diary Key or contraptions like Burning Glass that you craft in the Workshop. While this may look great, there is a drawback of Coat Check, as you will have to draft it again when you want to retrieve your item.
#2: Moon Pendant

The second method to keep items at the end of the day is far better than Coat Check. Known as the Moon Pendant, it allows you to start your next day with two items from your inventory if you end your day while wearing it.
The Moon Pendant is one of the most luxurious items that players can buy at the Showroom. If you have the Moon Pendant, you can retain two items from the list of current items in your inventory. But there is a catch, and it is in the form of the inability to choose the items you want for the next run.
You can also keep the Pendant for tomorrow so you don’t have to purchase it again the next day. However, this kills the purpose of having it to save two items.
Some players might prefer Coat Check over Moon Pendant if they don’t have ample reserves of gold. The Moon Pendant stays in your inventory unless you get rid of it.
The Showroom is a rare room from which you buy luxury items. It costs 2 gems to draft, and you can buy a large range of items here apart from the Moon Pendant. The cost of the Moon Pendant is 30 Gold. Here are the items that you can buy at the Showroom in Blue Prince.
- Silver Spoon – 30 Gold
- Chronograph – 30 Gold
- Ornate Compass – 50 Gold
- Emerald Bracelet – 60 Gold
- Master Key – 80 Gold
- The Trophy of Wealth – 100 Gold
All of these are extremely valuable items that have different rewards for players across their runs.
