Recruiting the tribesman in Soulmask is only beginning. You need to make sure they are happy so that your entire clan that thrive in Soulmask. You need manage the mood of your clan members to increase productivity and the overall mood in Soulmask.
Mood is improved and maintained by making sure the Hunger and Thirst levels are low, and your tribesmen have proper bedding.
So basically, housing, food, water are the items you need for happy clan members.
How to Keep Tribesmen Happy in Soulmask
There are four primary ways I use to keep my tribesmen happy at all times:
- Craft Special Beverages
- Housing and Bedding
- Food and Water
- Cater to Likes and Dislikes
Method #1: Craft Special Beverages
Let’s start with crafting special beverages.
One of the best special drinks in Soulmask is alcohol and I have to say it is probably the most effective mood uplifter in the game. You can offer alcohol to your clan members as a way to keep them happy and improve their mood.
Here are all special beverage crafting recipes:

Method #2: Housing and Bedding
As soon as you start recruiting clan members you must start gathering resources to makes sure they get cozy accommodations. Upgrade your base with comfortable furniture such as beds, chairs, and tables.
For instance, a bonfire offers a substantial comfort bonus of 400, while outhouses provide 200 each.
Not only inside the housing but also in your base camp there should be warm fire to keep your tribesmen comfortable. You can build a bonfire at any location in your camp only make sure it is away from flammable items.
Bonfire crafting recipe is as follow:
- 10x branches
- Stones, flint, and logs to enhance the look
Once you have the materials you can press Tab to access the inventory and look for bonfire in the Manual Crafting Blueprints. Approach the bonfire and press E to interact with it to add fuel to the Bonfire.
In the menu that appears, you can add fuel such as branches, logs, or hardwood. Each type of fuel has different burn times:
- Thatch: 28 seconds
- Branch: 1 minute 54 seconds
- Bark: 1 minute 54 seconds
- Log: 4 minutes 46 seconds
- Hardwood: 7 minutes 9 seconds
- Premium Hardwood: 7 minutes 9 seconds
Lastly, design your base to include ample space and better structures. A well-structured base not only looks appealing but also contributes to the comfort level of your tribesmen.
While advanced bedding might take some time to build, the most basic form is a grass mat:
You can make a Grass Mat with the following materials:
- Thatch x5
- Thick Rope x2
Pro tip: Build them grass mats, beds, chairs, etc., grant a comfort bonus.
Method #3: Food and Water
Your tribesmen are not picky when it comes to eating food but serving a diverse meal goes a long way. Prepared meals, and special beverages are great ways to boost the mood.
And as far as water goes, just it to them in a water bottle when the levels are low.
