#1: Feed Mutt Regularly
The best way to increase Mutt’s Obedience in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is to feed him. You can offer him Raw or cooked meat like mutton or sausage from your inventory.
The Obedience level will go up immediately after you feed Mutt. If you’re short on meat you can steal some from kitchens or hunt animals to stock up.
#2: Praise and Pet Him
Pets always work with Mutt so make sure to praise him and give him a lot of pets. Use the “Good Boy” interaction option to boost obedience.
When you praise Mutt his loyalty and Obedience toward you will go up.
#3: Try to Avoid Combat
When Mutt is around you it is best to avoid combat even though he can be helpful. Mutt’s obedience drops if he takes hits during fights.
Use the “Stay” command in dangerous situations to protect him.
#4: Unlock the Faithful Companion Perk
While there are many great perks for Mutt, I recommend you unlock the Faithful Companion perk for Mutt first because it reduces obedience decay by 25%. The perk is found under Houndmaster > Faithful Companion in the Skills menu.
