In Ghost of Yotei, there are plenty of side quest that serves many purposes. A Flower for your Thoughts is one such side quest, that require you to collect blue flowers, found on the trail of the Amber Respite Shrine.
First to start collecting flowers you need to finish the shrine walk. The locations are quite confusing, and it can consume a lot of your time, here where you can find all 3 flowers around Amber Respite Shrine.

How To find 3 blue flowers of forgiveness in Ghost of yotei
Firstly you need to complete the shrine walk before collecting flowers. Go to the exact location of the Amber Respite Shrine.
After completing the shrine walk you can collect the blue flowers of forgiveness. There are total 3 flowers and all of them are near the little lake.
Blue Flower Of Forgiveness Location #1
The first flower is towards the right side, from where you fall in the lake. The flower will be right beside a waterfall. Swim through it to reach the waterfall edge of the little lake in Ghost Of Yotei.
Blue Flower Of Forgiveness Location #2
The second blue flower is right infront of you from the point where you landed in the little lake. If you are the first location of the flower then turn around and go to the other side of the lake.
Blue Flower Of Forgiveness Location #3
The last and third one is to the extreme left of the little lake in Ghost Of Yotei. Head there and the last flower of forgiveness will be right across the bunch of trees.
What To Do after collecting All Blue Flowers Of Forgiveness
After gathering all the 3 blue flower of forgiveness, fast travel to the main entrance of the shrine and place all 3 blue flower of forgiveness as offerings.
After a short cutscene, as completion of the quest” Flower through your thoughts” you will get Charm of Lingering Affliction.
