Schematics in Dune Awakening are equivalent to Blueprints you come across in other RPG games like this. They are one-time use only and are used to craft advanced and unique items in Dune Awakening.
With Schematics, you can craft weapons, armor, tools, vehicles, and other types of equipment that are otherwise unavailable through purchasing and Research Intel.
How to Find Schematics in Dune Awakening
Schematics in Dune Awakening are found hidden inside Schematics Chests. Such chests are inside caves, underground areas, abandon Fremen Villages, Siethces, and marked intel locations on Arrakis.
Many schematics are found in locked chests or on corpses in dangerous PvE or PvP zones. Chest respawn timers vary, with PvE chests resetting roughly every 45 minutes and PvP shipwrecks about every 20 minutes.
A limited number of Schematics are acquired through side quests, contracts, vendors, and tasks in Dune Awakening. Vendors don’t always have them but you can check their inventory occasionally at the Trading Posts.

How to Use Schematics to Craft Items
Simply getting the Schematic for an item you want isn’t enough. You need to then research the schematic and get the required crafting materials before you can craft the item.
Researching the Schematic is a one-time thing, and it consumes the Schematic, meaning you will no longer have it. If you lose or trade the item you will then have to find another identical schematic to craft the same item.
Items are crafted at crafting stations depending on the type of item you have, you may be using Weapon or Vehicle Fabricator.
Because schematics are hard to get and single-use, you must decide carefully when to use them, especially for high-value or PvP gear.
