Echo log is a collectible item in Borderlands 4, that unlike the vault symbol does not reward you with 5 SDU token. But for area completion you need all the collectibles of that area, Tonnage Peel. Out of 25 collectible items, 6 are ECHO logs that you will collect in the area.

Tonnage Peel ECHO Log Locations In BL4
The ECHO Logs don’t appear when you have unlocked an area. The ECHO log symbol becomes visible on the map only once you are close enough to it.
And after getting a symbol nearby on the map just track it down by following the marker. I have marked all the six ECHO logs area to make things easy for you. Because if you don’t know the exact location it might take a lot of your time just for a collectible item.
Echo Log Location #1 & #2
The firs two ECHO logs will be collected as part of the side mission “Her Own Funeral” that you will start in Ruined Sumplands.
Head there to start the side mission, Lady is missing, and you need to find her soon. After a short conversation you will ask the ECHO-4 to ping her location that’s where your first ECHO log will be.
Once you get the ping to Naheli’s location track the quest, and you will get the first one at the given location. Just follow the blue marker by tracking the quest.
After getting the first ECHO Log the second one will ping on map and you will find it on the sofa in a room.

The third ECHO log is near the lowrise safe house.
