In Dying light: The Beast you get many collectibles to earn rewards and get rare items. Barn’s Research memo is one of them. Baron’s memo notes are scattered all around the Castor Woods that you will collect.
There are total 9 Barons Research Memo note that contains the information of the experiments done on humans and zombies. Here is how you can find each of them.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #1 (National Park)
The first memo note that I found was in the national park. The pointed location on the map is in the south-east direction from the valentine Asylum in Dying Light:The Beast
. In that area try to find a body using the survival’s instinct. The corpse will be beside a tree, interact to get the first baron’s Research memo.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #2 (Farmlands)
You will find the second memo note of Baron’s patient in Farmlands near the municipal sewage treatment plant. Go left from the WWD building, the memo note at the center of a platform where vegetation is overgrown on it.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #3 (Industrial Zone)
The second research memo is in the industrial zone hidden inside the building. Enter the building from the broken wall and go to the first floor using the stairs that are straight ahead near the Gate 2 of the building.
Take a right at the end of the stairs leading you to a patient diagnosis room. The 3rd memo note will be in a bookshelf in that room.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #4 (Industrial Zone)
The 4 Baron’s Research memo location is in the same area you are and also close to the one where you found the third note. In the north-east direction from the above location there is a car junkyard. Go at the exact location as I have mentioned in the image. The memo not will be on an old table beside an and old rusty electrical generator
Baron’s Research Memo Location #5 (National Park)
Next you will also find another Baron’s Research Memo note in National Park, from the south-east direction of Valentine Asylum in Dying Light: The Beast.
The fifth note is inside a valley near the wooden house. Go down into the valley and the fifth memo is on the crate just towards the right side of the house.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #6 (National Park)
Head in the north-west direction from where you are in the national park. For reference image of the map is also given.
At the location there is an old-broken circular monument like structure. The 6 Baron’s Research Memo note is on a mechanical equipment trolley near the wooden bridge.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #7 (Villa Area)
The 7 memo is in the Emil’s Brick School that is heavily swarmed with infected so if you’re collecting the note in the early levels it might be a bit difficult. I collected the Baron’s Research Memo when I was at the maximum level.
Go around the school’s main entrance and go back to the sports complex area that was used as a quarantine ward when the Apocalypse started. Follow the direction symbols once you reach behind the school building to enter the sports complex area.
The 7 memo note will be beside a computer on the table near the basketball pocket.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #8 (Industrial Zone)
Next memo is inside an abandoned factory area, whose entry point is from a broken bridge. Go to the exact location as mentioned on the map and look for a broken metal bridge leading into the factory
Go inside the factory from above and then into the factory. Enter a room to your right where the Barons Research Memo is on a table.
Baron’s Research Memo Location #9 (Industrial Zone)
The last Baron’s Research Memo is in the same building where you got the 8th memo note. Go out of the room and from the hall area take the stairs to your right. The last memo will be in a room that is at the end of the corridor. For reference, I have attached the image and path indicated with arrows to make it more easy and time efficient.
