In Dying Light The Beast, to progress in the game you complete a bunch of story tasks, but there are many side missions, and collectibles you can go for.
One of the collectible types in the game are Asylum Patients Records, but they are also part of a main quest, where you have to collect all the 6 patient record during the main story mission” Cries Trapped In the Walls”.

Under the story quest Cries Trapped in The Walls there is a collectible item of all the patient records in Ding light The Best. There are 6 patient records that are available while completing the quest.
After talking to Lydia the zombies will not attack for some time, but the infected ones still can detect you. Their detecting radius is quite small you can go from the gaps and try to go undetected. Go to the first floor and I will start the navigation of all the 6 patients from here. For reference, I have given the image below.
Location #1 (Otto Patient Record)
To get the patient records of move to your right where you will see a vent climb that vent.
After entering the Vent, take your second left, and you will reach in a bathroom where a corpse of a doctor is on the floor. The record file of the first patient Otto is just beside his dead body.
Location # 2 and 3 (Patient Hans and Helga Record)
From the corridor of ward A go into the operation theater room to your left. The patient record of Hans is at the table in Dying Light The Beast.
In the same room you will find the record file of Patient Helga. To your right where you found Hans record file, patient Helga record is on the table behind the door.
Location # 4 (Patient Kurt)
The 4th patient Kurt record file is inside the room to your left, near the main entrance in Dying Light The Beast.
Location # 5 (Patient Ingrid Record File)
After collecting Kurt file near the main entrance go out of the room and head to Block B using the stairs.
On your left at the end of the corridor of block B you can see a window to the patient ward. Enter the ward through the window.
After entering the ward to left there is another window to medical storage area, where you will get the 5th patient record file in Dying Light The Beast.
Location #6 (Patient Maria Record)
The last patient Maria records file is when you are trying to find the drug Neuroraze in the left corner of the mental asylum building. The siren starts ringing and Lydia is about to lose control over zombies. You will find Maria’s record file on a table in front of you
