The puzzles of AILA keep getting tougher as u slowly make your way towards the ending. During the Medieval simulation, the player is faced with 4 puzzles that are required for further level progression. If you are struggling with any of them, then this guide is all you need.

How to Complete All Medieval Puzzles in A.I.L.A

In the Medieval experience, you will have to complete a total of four puzzles to progress further. Here are the solutions for all of them:

Library Painting Puzzle

After unlocking the door leading to the library building with the Metal Morning Star key, head to the second floor to find six paintings on the back wall. You will also find a console in front of that wall with notes for each painting and a small lever.

We will solve the puzzle using the hints provided in the notes on the console. Adjust each painting higher or lower into its correct place by using the hints.

After successfully arranging all the paintings, it should look like this:

See the level on the console? Pull it, and the door on the first floor will open. Your work here is now done.

Castle Chest Puzzle

In an armory at the far end of the right-side hallway from the castle’s front entrance, you will come across your second problem, which will be a chest puzzle.

Like any other chest puzzle, this one also requires a code to be solved. If you wanna figure it out yourself, feel free to look at the weapon symbols below. If not, then the code for the chest is: 3-7-4.

In the chest, you will find the Lion Key, which can be used for the respective door on the second floor of the castle.

Castle Weight Scale Puzzle

The third puzzle of the Medieval simulation will be the weight scale puzzle, which can be found on the left side of the castle, right below the main puzzle. You will have to complete all three tiers of the puzzle, but first, let’s get our hands on all three Copper Weights to insert onto each scale. Here are the locations for them:

Copper WeightLocation Description
SmallStatue in the same hallway as the puzzle
MediumStatue in the room behind the Dragon Door on the second floor
LargeStatue in the room to the left of the Throne Room

After completing a tier, the cupboard for it on the right will open, containing the following rewards:

  • Bottom Tier – Lever
  • Centre Tier – Skull Key
  • Top Tier – Beverage (healing item)

For the bottom scale, you will need one weight, two for the centre one, and all three for the top scale. You will need to balance the scale by aligning all three arrows in the right centre. The images below will let you understand this better:

Once everything is done, the door beside will open, granting you access to the area behind it. Head inside to find the Golden Cross, which you will need for the statue puzzle.

Golden Statue Puzzle

After obtaining the Golden Cross from the previous puzzle, head to the four statues in the castle’s front room, which will be raised via the chain mechanism on the balcony above. This area can be accessed through the Lion Door.

Place the Golden Cross in the back left statue’s hand and then interact with the back right statue to turn its sword upward. Once you have done that, interact with the front right statue to make it turn its head with palms facing down.

Lastly, interact with the front left statue to have it turn its hands into a praying position. Now, the cage will open, and you will find the Golden Skull inside.

That’s all for this AILA guide on how to complete all Medieval puzzles. I hope that you found this guide helpful.
