In Dying Light The Beast the player can hunt down Olivia’s Recordings. These recordings give some much-needed lore and answered some of the burning questions you’ll have while playing the game, if you are into the story.
In total, there are 4 takes and each one gives a detail breakdown of a certain event that took place in Dying Light. The recording are only accessible during or after a main story mission called “Power Gambit.”

Olivia’s Recording #1: Mission brief for Major
From this side of the building, jump on the ledge and climb up. Jump on the AC unit outside and grab on to windows to navigate your way to the roof of the building.
Olivia’s Recording #2: Dr. Bennet’s Resignation
The second recording is inside a broken down building in the Industrial Park. The location of the building is marked on the map as you can see in the image above.
You can enter the brick building through the broken down wall on the side.
Head straight inside and in front you should be Gate 2 exit door. Go through the door and then down the stairs to reach the lower level of the building.
Olivia’s Recording in the basement area inside a small room next to a Volatile. Grab and run if you won’t have a high enough level to fight it.
Olivia’s Recording #3: Olivia to Her Father
Third Olivia’s Recording is inside the Monastery Safe Zone building.
Go through the broken window I’ve marked on the image above. You will land right on the staircase. Head up the stairs and go to the office.
The recording is on the wooden shelf behind the table.
Olivia’s Recording #4: Dr. Bennet to His Daughter
The final recording can only be found after you finish the main story of Dying Light: The Beast. It is also inside the Monastery Safe Zone building. In fact, it is in the safe office where you found the third Olivia’s Recording. However, this time go inside the attached bathroom in the office space, and check behind the laptop.
