Where Winds Meet is a massive game where you are able to not only do quests but also go after a ton of collectables in your spare time. If you didn’t already know about Ripped Letters, there are a handful of them you can find in the game.
If I am not mistaken, we first come across these letters during the Blind of the Worlds quest, but since they are optional, you may not have picked them up right away. In total, there are three Ripped Letters hidden at different locations in Where Winds Meet.
All Ripped Letter Locations in Where Winds Meet
All three of the ripped letters are thankfully in the same area where you open the stone gate in Blind To The World. However, you need to open underwater chests to reach the Where Winds Meet ripped letters.
These fragments appear during the Blind to the World (sometimes called Find What the Lunar Goddess Really Wants) sequence in Volume IV. The quest sends you through drained lake areas, hidden passages and watery caverns, that’s where the fragments hide. Keep your breath meter and look for chests, ledges, alcoves, and small crawl spaces.
Ripped Letter Location #1
For the first letter, turn right to the start of the broken wooden bridge, where there is a lake.
You can also see blue glowing flowers; stepping on them will result in heightened hearing ability, but you lose your sight at that moment. These are helpful when you want to know where to go next.
Next, dive into the water, and you will see a chest to your right side. Open it, and you will get your first Ripped Letter as a reward.
Along with the Ripped letter I you will also get

- EXP x500
- Qinghe Exploration x3
Ripped Letter Location #2
For the second ripped letter, continue moving downward in the water from the previous letter location.
Here, you can also go up and replenish your lungs with air before diving deep into the cave. I suggest you do that because it’s a long way ahead.
In the next area, you will see two paths: one to your left that is closed with an optional chest available and the other to your right leading to Ripped Letter 2 in Where Winds Meet.
Follow the path to your right downward, and eventually you will see a chest with green light shining on it. Along with the letter, you will get the same rewards.
Ripped Letter Location #3
The last one is in front of the stone gate lake. Dive into it, and there is a chest in front of you. Open the chest to get the Ripped Letter III.
What to do with Ripped Letters in Where Winds Meet?
After collecting all three Ripped Letters, open the stone gate by solving the puzzle. Go up the platform and ring the bells in the following sequence to open the gate.
Follow the path downward leading to a wide area until you see a small piece of land behind the large tree. On that small piece of land on water, there is a table on which letter paper is lying.
Interact with the letter paper and select Assemble Fragments to combine all the ripped letters.
