Who wouldn’t want a great weapon to fight off the dangers of Dying Light: The Beast? You have a lot of options, one of it being the EXPCalibur, a legendary sword.
The sword has great stats, but requires some time to get, as you will need to gather 8 sigils. If you are struggling with getting this sword, then this guide is for you.
How to Get the EXPCalibur II in Dying Light: The Beast
Before you start hunting this sword, make sure you have completed the Some Like it Dark quest and the 8 sigils. Here are the locations for those sigils:
Stone Sigil #1: Death
You can find this sigil underneath the Church north of Old Town. You might have come across this area before during the Main Story quest: The Beast Within. Enter the crypt basement, and you will find a standing statue on the right side of the basement. Collect the sigil from the statue’s base.
Stone Sigil #2: The Void
The Void sigil can be found inside a cave hidden behind a waterfall near the bridge in the National Park. You will find a small opening behind the upper waterfall; crawl into it and continue straight to find the Mouthpiece weapon and a note.
For the Void sigil, you will need to turn up the brightness and dive into the pool. Use your Survivor Sense to locate the sigil’s location.
Stone Sigil #3: Blood
The Blood sigil can be found on the base of the woman’s fountain statue near St. Valentine’s Asylum in the Mental Asylum area. I suggest you avoid any unnecessary battles and take your leave as soon as you obtain the sigil.
Stone Sigil #4: Shadows
If you remember correctly, I mentioned completing the Some Like it Dark quest before going for the EXPCalibur in Dying Light: The Beast. That’s because you can’t get the Shadows’ sigil if you haven’t done it.
If you meet the requirement, head over to The Exiles’ Cave and check the isolated area with bean bags located right before the main tents. You will find the sigil sitting on the ground next to the candles.
Stone Sigil #5: Curse
Head over to The Vale’s tree of Madness in the Villa area near the Monument of Hill of Heroes. Once you get here, take the left path, and you will find the Stone Sigil from the skeleton’s mouth stuck on the tree.
Stone Sigil #6: Sacrifice
Make your way to the ruined arena in the National Park, around some Stonehenge standing slabs. See an opening on top of the arena? Jump down, and you will land around a pillar in the center, which will have the Sacrifice sigil on its middle.
Stone Sigil #7: The Moon
You can get the Moon sigil at the top of the rock formations near the waterfalls, close to the bridge in the National Park. See an opening in the bushes? Enter it, and you will reach an open area with a tent. Take a right, and you will see the stone sigil on the small rock covered with moss.
Stone Sigil #8: Witch’s Mark
The Witch’s Mark sigil can be found in a stone hut in the National Park. Go to the river inlet at the base of the cliff between the Mountain Shelter Town safe spot, and Mountain Relay substation. Keep going until you find a stone hut. Enter it, and you will find the Witch’s Mark Stone sigil engraved at the center of the chimney.
EXPCalibur II Location in Dying Light: The Beast
Now that you have the 8 sigils, it’s time to get the EXPCalibur. Make your way to the National Park and head towards a large rock formation northeast of the Monastery.
You need to get to the top, and for that, you will need to start from the smaller rock formation first. Use the branch to reach it and then climb to the top.
To get to the top of the large rock formation, you will need to climb some ledges using white paint. Keep doing this, and you will reach the top in no time.
Here, assemble the stone sigils around the symbol on the ground. Defeat the Demolisher and pull the sword. Press the button until the sword is free, and you will then get EXPCalibur and its blueprint.

Here are the stats for the EXPCalibur:
- +20% damage (headshot or headstrike)
- +6% damage against infected
- +10% XP gained
- 160 durability but it’s irreparable. If it breaks, you can craft a new one since you already have the blueprint.
