In Hollow Knight Silksong, you have to hunt 3 volatile Flintbeetles in marrow. Hunting them will give you Flintgem. This is actually an early game quest, and you don’t exactly get the locations of these beetles, but you have to track them down using their dung at certain locations. So here’s all the Flintbeetle locations, that will save plenty of your time from finding it.
How To Start The Quest Volatile Flintbeetles: In Bone Bottom interact with Wish Board to accept this Flintbeetles hunting wish.

Tip To Track Flintbeetles easily
These beetles leave a dung droppings kind of scent at places, upon interaction a path is visible. Quickly trace the path without any other distraction or it might fade away.
All 3 Volatile Flintbeetle Locations Hollow Knight Silksong
Location #1 ((Near First Marrow Bench)
Got right from where you are as I have given the reference image below.
After going straight and passing two rooms you will reach the throne room where the dung dropping, a yellow color mist is coming out of it. Interact with it and a track will appear; a white transparent path that you follow until you reach the Flingbeetles.
Follow the path to your left and upwards and beetle will be at the top of the wall towards your right. Hit it to drop and start the fight.
After defeating the beetle you will get flintgem as reward from him. Flintgem are a gem like organ taken from the beetle. It produces sparks when abraded, and may explode if it cracks or dropped.

Location #2 ( Upper Marrow Rooftop)
Go right and upwards from where you have defeated the first Flintbeetle. Make your way until you reach the exact location as I have marked by a red line on the map.
From there climb up to your left above the diansour skull where you will find the next tracking location the dung dropping of the second Flintbeetle in Hollow Knight Silksong.
Just Follow the path and you will reach there. A quick tip is that before engaging into with him make sure to take care of the little guys around there, otherwise they might make it difficult to fight multiple enemies at the same time.
Location #3 (Far right Of the Marrow)
The last Flintbeetle is located towards the Far-right side of the marrow where the red flowers are.The final location on map is point on map where the beetle is embeded in the wall in the left corner.
How To Get Reward After Completing The Wish Of hunting Flintbeetles
After defeating all the Flintbeetles you will not get the reward right away, turn these flintgems in to Bone Bottom’s Wishwall and collect the reward.
You will get memory locket as reward by hunting Flingbeetles in Hollow Knight Silksong.
