As GTA 6 speeds towards its November release later this year, rumors regarding the title continue to make the rounds. Most recently, a new video showed up on the internet, showing a small segment of Vice City with a bridge.
This footage was claimed to be from very early on in the game’s development, but things have taken an interesting turn since the video showed up. Close inspection of the leak reveals that this is likely yet another fake attempt at a GTA 6 leak.

As pointed out on Twitter, multiple discrepancies exist within the recently leaked gameplay for it to be legitimate. For starters, analysis shows that the bridge shown in the video being in this specific location does not add up since Rockstar has previously shown the same area in past trailers.
It is possible that the bridge was removed earlier in development, but other inconsistencies, like the different debug menu font compared to that of the 2022 leaks suggests that this was not the case. Moreover, as GameRoll points out, even the camera movement is different from the past GTA 6 leaks.
For those curious, this leak initially showed up on Instagram. The account that posted the footage was also created very recently, further lending to the theory that all of this was fabricated in an attempt to gain attention from GTA fans.
Despite the clear inconsistencies, this leak has become quite popular over the last few days. Ultimately, this incident shows just how starved fans are for more GTA 6 information, and the good news is that official marketing is not too far away now.
Take-Two has confirmed plans to begin marketing the game during the summer in preparation for the November 19 release date. Rockstar also doesn’t expect to delay the game again, so fans can ignore any fake or outdated footage that shows up before the official information drop from the studio in the coming months.
