Operator Gifts are a big part of Arknights: Endfield’s relationship and affinity system. They are designed to increase the Trust level between your character and other operators aboard the OMV Dijiang.
Trust level is not just a cosmetic numver in Arknights: Endfield because raisng is directlt impacts gameplaty by unlocking bonuses within an operator’s Ability Matrix.
Operator Gifts are consumable items that increase an operator’s Trust when given to them on the Dijiang. Trust functions as a long-term progression mechanic separate from combat leveling, gear upgrades, or skill progression.
Each character has a different preference of gfts and you can find out their prefference by interacting with them. Some prefer Natural or Tech gifts while others prefer Educational Gifts.

How to Give Best Gifts to Operators
Gifts can only be given while aboard the OMV Dijiang. Once on the ship, you can select an operator and choose the option to offer a gift. Gifting cannot be done in the field or during exploration missions.
Each operator has a daily limit on how many gifts the player can give them in Arknights: Endfield. At the timem of this wriing the daily gift limit is 5 for each operator. Once that limit is reached additional gifts that can not be handed until the reset.
When offering a gift, the game’s interface clearly shows whether the operator reacts positively to the item. Preferred gifts are visually indicated and grant more Trust than standard gifts.
