A new retail listing may have just confirmed what fans have been speculating for months: Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
French retailer Auchan currently has the game listed for Nintendo Switch 2, with the product described as a “Key Card” version meaning buyers will receive a physical box containing a digital download code, not a cartridge. The listing remains live on Auchan’s website.

This discovery adds fuel to ongoing rumors that Ubisoft’s samurai-era Assassin’s Creed title will be part of the Switch 2’s launch or early lineup.
This is not the first time we have heard or seen anything related to AC Shadows on NS2. Previously, we have a PEGI database leak and in fact, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot and CFO Frederick Duguet mentioned that they have “a game that will launch on the Switch 2.”
This happened during the latest earning call by Ubisoft. The execs went as far as mentioning, when asked about AC Shadows, that they “have also some new versions that will come on other machines.”
It is safe to say that this is happening, when? Only time will tell, but it shouldn’t be long before we see AC Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2.
Currently, the game is available on PC, PlayStation, Mac, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Xbox platforms. But earlier this year, AC Shadows was also seen rated for NS2 by PEGI.

NS2 version of AC Shadows is expected to release sometime this fiscal year.
