As I discussed in my earlier guide that explains how to unlock new skills, you need Skill Manuals to do. In Atomfall, there are 8 skill manuals you can find at various locations. Finding the Skill Manuals will unlock a specific set of 3 Skills in one of the four Skill Trees.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #1 | Ranged Combat 1
Coordinates: 41.1 E, 70.8 N
The Skill Manual for Ranged Combat 1 is inside the Skethermoor Prison. You first need to get access to the prison and that happens after you report to Grand Sims. An alternate way to get this manual is to either rob or buy from Corporal “Bootsy” Hughes in Skethermoor (36.3 E, 76.2 N).
Enter the prison and head straight through he main facility until you reach a locked door. To your right is a small room which has the switch to unlock the door and a security key.
Hit the switch and take the security key from the desk as well.
The manual is in the Lower Floor, at the very bottom of the prison inside a room in the Loading Bay area.
Enter the Loading Bay area and in the back section, next to a crane, climb through the small green opening.
Use the security key we acquired earlier to open the locked door inside and to your right, in a shelf is the Ranged Combat 1 manual.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #2 | Ranged Combat 2
Coordinates: 19.9 E, 84.2 N
The Ranged Combat 2 Skill Manual is found at the Druids Camp in Casterfell Woods. This is the Bow Mastery Manual that you can pick up from the camp. An alternate way to get this skill manual is buying or robbing from Molly Jewitt in Slatten Date (26.4 E, 79.1 N) but only after you buy or find the Stealth Manual first.
The Skill Manual is sitting on a wooden crate outside door.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #3 | Melee Combat 1
Coordinates: 20.9 E, 90.9 N
The Stealth Manual is at the Casterfell Dam, Casterfell Woods. Go to the coordinates and behind the power generator, loot the body of Jenks to get the Stealth Manual Note in Atomfall. This is the first step to finding the actual Manual.
Track the lead and it will lead you to Datlow Hall.
Enter the Datlow Hall and to your right will be Prudence Rook standing in the dining hall. Speak with her and choose the following dialogue options:
- Wary: Is everything all right with you?
- Curious: I see. Do you know what the scientists are researching here?
- Prying: Why can’t I go into the conservatory?
- Honest: I’m sorry, but Jenks isn’t coming back. I found this letter from him.
Rook will give you the Conservatory Key. Leave the Datlow Hall from the front door and turn right into the garden area. Go past the fountain while avoiding trip wires on the main track.
When you keep following walking track you’ll end up at the Conservatory Door at the back of the Datlow Hall.
Use Rook’s Conservatory Key to open this door and head inside. Inside the Conservatory you will find the Stealth Manual on a wooden box next to a dirty mattress on the ground.
This manual is also available at the merchant in Slatten Dale at 26.4, 79.1.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #4 | Melee Combat 2
Coordinates: 24.4 E, 75.3 N
The next on the list is the Melee Combat Manual. It is found inside Outlaw’s Cave in Slatten Dale.
You’ll have to explore the cave a bit to find this manual but the location isn’t huge so it won’t be a problem. The manual is on a wooden box inside the cave as you can see in the image below.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #5 | Survival #1
The Crafting Manual is at the Data Store D Store Room at The Interchange but after you power it up.
You need atomic batteries to power the facility.
After placing the battery at the Central Processor, head back out and down the stairs you used to come up to this room. Turn left to reach the main door to Data Store Delta.
Enter Data Store Delta and go down the stairs. Place another Atomic Battery here:
As soon as you put the battery in, the power comes on and when you go further down Data Store Delta you will see server racks to your right. You need to climb the server racks to reach the the upper platform.
Loot the dead body there to get the Data Store Delta room key. Now you need to follow the same platform to reach back up but then make your way back down again.
Just before the area with the server racks, there is a locked room which can now be opened using the key we just looted.
Inside this room is the Crafting Manual.
An alternate way to get this as a bribe from Morris Wick after confronting him about the letter.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #6 | Survival Manual #2
Coordinates: 35.5 E, 79.2 N
The Consumables Manual is at the Wyndham Village Bakery. Head inside, known out the lady behind the counter get the key for the upstairs room. Go up, take down the enemy there and collect the Consumable Skill Manual from the desk next to the window.
Atomfall Skill Manual Location #7 | Experimental Inocultion
To get this one you need the Church Cellar Key from The Interchange. When you reach the Interchange, crawl under the door shown in the image above but before you do make sure you have an Atomic Battery.
Crawl under the door and turn left toward Data Store Charlie, and go through the door there. Go down to the stairs toward C Data Store and use the Atomic Battery to unlock the door to your left.
You need to reach the medical wing at upstairs. Go through the newly unlocked door and head up the stairs to your left.
When you reach the top of the stairs, take the corridor and turn right at the end of it.
When you turn right there will be a door in front that leads to the entrance of the Medical Wing.
Enter the Medical Wing and turn right. There is a small room at the beginning of the corridor to your right.
The Church Cellar key is on the floor inside the small room.
With the key in hand, it is time to go to the Wyndham Village Church and access the cellar using the cellar key.
Enter the church and go down to the cellar. Turn right after going down the cellar stairs and open this door with the cellar key.
Inside this room you will find the Experimental Inocultion syringe.

The final manual is the Resistance Manual which is also in the Medical Wing of The Interchange.
