I wondered the same thing until I found out there is nothing that can be done to Lift Purple seals until you manage to complete the story. Yes, you need to first complete the main story and then you can unlock the Purple Seals. After the end credits roll you spawn into the Base Camp and Trip tells you about a Stone Slate. Speak with Edwards who explains that the Slate has Dark Power recipes including Dark Fires. Using Dark Fires you can unlock Purple Seals but most Purple Seal locations require different amounts of Dark Fires. Now the question is, where can you find Purple Seals in Fantasy Life i? Below I'm going to list all the locations where you can find Purple Seal locations. Related How to Lift Purple Seals in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time #1: Quetzal Nest Purple Seal Unlock Requirements: 10x Dark Fires Quetzal Nest is a cave in the Capital of Mysteria, this is the area where you face the Tunoco Quetzal bird boss. Inside the cave there is a branching path that is blocked by the Purple Seal. If you have 10x Dark Fires you can lift this Purple Seal and get a chest that spawns random loot. So far, on multiple runs, nothing major dropped for me. #2: Banaan Cave Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 5x Dark Fires To reach the Banaan Cave Purple Seal, head southwest of the Capital of Mysteria. When you reach the beach look for the cave's entrance there. The cave, just like Quetzal Cave, has a boss but also a Purple Seal that blocks off a branching path. Use 5x Dark Fires to lift the Purple Seal and inside you will find 4 chests to loot. #3: Cave Of Trials B1 Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 30x Dark Fires Cave of Trials is on the Swolean Island and it is a massive location. However, the Purple Seal itself is on B1. Cave of Trials B1 Purple Seal requires 30x Dark Fires. I recommend using the Beach Entrance of the dungeon and then go down to Cave of Trials B1 where you will find the seal. Inside the sealed room you will find Gold Deposits, Level 60 Luminous Magic Ore Deposit, and 1x Great Gold Deposit. There are other items in the room as well including mushrooms. Explore thoroughly before leaving. #4: Yohoho Cavern Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 30x Dark Fires Yohoho Cavern is a cave in the southwest edge of the Tropical Isles. The loot in this cave's Purple Seal room isn't high in quantity but the quality is amazing. You can get a Level 60 Rare Fish Shadow. Make sure you have a Fishing License before you enter the sealed room. How to Get the Fishing License Early in the game, you'll be directed to the Guild Office in Eternia Village. Speak with Auntie Anne, the Guild Master, to choose your initial Life. When prompted to select a Life, choose Angler. This will grant you the Angler license, allowing you to start fishing. If you chose a different Life, you can switch to Angler at any time by returning to the Guild Office and speaking with Auntie Anne. #5: Lulab Forest Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 30x Dark Fires The Western Lulab Forest has a Purple Seal for you. Enter the forest from the Eastern Entrance of the forest and use the wooden bridges to access the Western part of the Lubab Forest. This is where you will find a Purple Seal and the access point to the Spirit Road. Inside the sealed room you will find 2x Cherry Trees, 1x Level 60 Luminous Darkwood Tree,1x Great Cherry Tree, and 1x Level 25 Big Fish Shadow. #6: Spirit Road Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 30x Dark Fires This seal in in the Lulab Forest but you need to reach the room in the Southeast side of Lulab Forest west. A wall there leads into the Spirit Road and while you're on the road you will find another Purple Seal. Inside there are two rooms where the loot is pretty sweat. You get Level 60 Wicked Mandrake, Level 60 Amazing Blue Ore Deposits, and variants of Anthurium flowers. #7: Depths B1 Purple Seal Unlock Requirement: 30x Dark Fires The Depths is easy to find because it is part of the main storyline. Simply keep playing the game and you will reach this location. The Purple Seal here needs 30x Dark Fires to unlock. Interestingly, the path to Purple Seal is also blocked by a giant stone so you'll have to deal with that first. Once inside the sealed room expect to find 1x Level 70 Shadow Carrotella and a handful of Shadow Carrots. Warning; There is boss inside the Purple Seal room with a 5 minute respawn time. #8: Warren Willow Hollow B1 Purple Seal Unlock Requirement; 50x Dark Fires Head to the Northwest region of the Capital of Mysteria. Look for a cave that has a garden around it. Through this cave you can enter the Warren Willow Hollow. You need take the stairs down to B1 of Warren Willow Hollow too find the Purple Seal, as shown in the imagine above. Inside the room you will find 1x Luminous Darkwood Tree, and 1x Level 55 Luminous Magic Ore Deposit. Don't forget to loot the chest for some random loot before you leave.
