Avowed rewards players with unique items throughout the gameplay. You’ll find numerous treasure maps across the game. Each map holds the location of a chest that bestows the Envoy with unique rewards.
Earthy Aegis is one of these treasure maps, which you find quite early in the game, specifically in the Emerald Stair region. In order to find Earthy Aegis, you need to complete the main quest “Message from Afar”.
It is not only the earliest one to find in the game but also one of the toughest to locate. It is like solving a tricky puzzle that may leave you confused and frustrated for hours. But the rewards you get after finishing this side quest will make it worth all the effort.
In this guide, we will explain how to find and solve the Earthy Aegis treasure map in Avowed and what rewards you get in return.
How to Find the Earthy Aegis Treasure Map in Avowed?
The Earthy Aegis treasure map can be found in a house with no doors inside Naku Tedek, located in the south of the Emerald Stair region. To go to the house, turn left from the camp’s adra pillar, climb the tree root, and walk across it. You’ll see a hole in the wall; run fast and take a running jump to drop down to the chest.

Earthy Aegis Location Solution

Inside the hole, you will find a chest that contains a map and provides some hints to solve it.
The Earthy Aegis map shows a squat building and speaks about stealing something from a delemgan (a monstrous creature specifically found in areas like the Woodlands and the Delemgan Glade).

These people are very aggressive and are a part of different quests throughout the game. You will visit this area during one of the main questline missions, but you can also go there to get the treasure early.
Simply travel towards the Woodland area found on the map. Reach the Rock Arch travel beacon. You’ll find plenty of delemgen and bears there. It is better to avoid them and quickly move past them.

Once you reach the top of the hill, you will find the house shown on the map. The door of the house is locked, and you’ll have to unlock it from the back side.

You’ll see a root extending around the back of the building; move alongside it to reach the point where it ends, and you will find an opening in the wall. At this point, you can easily locate a switch. Push this switch, and the door will open. Go back around and enter the building to claim your hard-earned Nature’s Ward shield.
Just a useful tip: the button is quite tricky. You will have to try a few times before you can find the right angle to push it.
