Method #1 – Use Steamworks Common Redistributables

Since DirectX and Visual C++ Runtime are necessary to run any game on Windows, Steam downloads the installers for these redistributables with every game you install. So, the required Visual C++ Runtime installer is already on your PC, and you just have to run it to fix the Avowed C++ Runtime error.
