Battlefield 6 is currently among 2025’s best-selling games and has officially marked the return of an incredible first-person shooter series. However, sentiment regarding the game has begun shifting recently, owing to an underwhelming battle royal mode, among other problems.
Making matters worse, a new social media post shows that instances of AI-generated art have been spotted in Battlefield 6.

Over on Reddit, user Willcario has spotted that the Winter Warning player card sticker in Battlefield 6 shows an M4A1 with two barrels. This appears to be a clear sign of AI use in the game, something that fans have not taken too well to.
Further inspection of this artwork also shows the soldier’s finger lying below the actual trigger. One could argue that this is a deliberate choice to represent trigger discipline, but the other inconsistencies within the artwork don’t inspire any confidence.

These small errors are typically immediate giveaways of an artwork being created through artificial intelligence, and audiences aren’t too happy with this discovery in Battlefield 6. Some have even gone as far as to claim that there’s even more AI-generated art in Battlefield 6, with most people just being oblivious to this fact.
Although the validity of this particular claim remains questionable, it is shocking to see how ingrained into AAA titles artificial intelligence is quickly becoming, especially when it comes to art.
Other than Battlefield 6, Black Ops 7 has received a lot of pushback for heavily using AI art for its calling cards. It seems EA has also taken cues from Activision, leading to similar negativity for the Battlefield series.
Whether Dice will come forward with an official statement to address the situation remains anybody’s guess for now, but the team has been known to address feedback promptly in the past. As such, it will be interesting to see if this calling card ends up being removed from the game.
