To increase your survival rate in the harsh environment of Mewgenics, you will need to make sure your cats are strong. For that, a Class Colar is really helpful, providing bonus stats to each cat in Mewgenics depending on their type.
However, we can do more by using items that enhance their abilities. In this Mewgenics guide, I will take you through some of the best items that you can use for your Fighter Class cat.
Items That Will Benefit Your Fighter Class Cat in Mewgenics

As Fighters are core damage dealers among the four starter Classes in Mewgenics, you need to make sure they are strong enough to deal with the dangers on Mewgenics. These cats have high melee damage, making them really good for tackling tank enemies with high Hit Points.
First you will have to understand that there are five types of Items: Weapons, Trinkets/Consumables, Head, Face, and Neck. You can equip Weapons to your cat’s Weapon Item slot, but can only use them once per turn. Considering this, save the Weapons which can only be used once per battle for boss fights. Let’s take a look at 20 items that will make your Fighter Class cat stronger:
| Items | Use |
| Paper Hat | +1 Bleed thorns. Your basic attack inflicts bleed. Fragile, brittle, flammable, melts in water |
| Rusty Razor | Melee attack that inflicts poison 1 and bleed 1. |
| Submachine Gun | Fire 5 Shots in a straight line |
| Human Foot | +2 Speed |
| Nightmare Hat | After you kill 3 units, you can attack 1 extra time each turn. |
| Bone Marrow | Heal to full at the end of each battle |
| Spotted Mushroom | +2 Charisma, -1 Ranged |
| Human Heart | +2 Health |
| Meat Cleaver | Deal damage equal to half of the opponent’s HP (1/6 of the boss’ HP). Used once per battle |
| Barbed Mask | +1 Damage, +1 Thorns, -1 Max HP |
| Wig | +2 Charisma |
| Lion Mane | +1 Strength, Health & Charisma, -1 Intelligence & Speed |
| Antenna | Units that contact or attack you get hit with a lightning bolt that has a 10% chance to stun |
| Roid Rage | Gain +5 Strength until the end of battle |
| Rusted Rod | Melee attack with damage equal to uses (9 max) |
| Horns | +1 Strength, +! Thorns |
| Lighter | Inflict Burn 1 on an adjacent unit (5 uses left) |
| Revolver | Fire a shot in a straight line that instakills units (25 damage to bosses), 6 uses |
| Snaggle Tooth | Your basic attack inflicts Bleed 1 |
| Ankh | Deal damage equal to half of the opponent’s HP (1/6 of the boss’s HP). Used once per battle |

In the early game, you can give your Fighter cat the following items:
- Weapon – Lighter/Revolver/Rusty Razor
- Head – Lion Mane/Horns/Antenna
- Neck – Leather Choker/Used Shirt/Bulletproof Vest
- Face – Barbed Mask/Lead Mask/Brick Mask
- Trinket/Consumable – Petrified Pinky/Roid Rage/Large Catnip Baggy
Always give your Fighter cat the best Weapon, as their main goal is to deal damage to enemies. Aside from that, you should also equip certain body armor items(Head, Face, and Neck) that add a Strength or Constitution benefit to your Fighter. I suggest using Lion Mane, Horns, and Leather Choker, as they can enhance your cat’s stats.
For Trinkets/Consumables, you can’t go wrong with Snaggle Tooth (your basic attack inflicts Bleed 1) or Roid Rage (+5 Strength until the end of battle). These items may be simple, but they are really effective.
That should cover some of the best items for your Fighter Class cat. The game offers over 900 unique items to find and choose from, so it’s pretty normal to get confused. I hope that guide has helped you.
