Metaphor: ReFantazio performance on Asus ROG Ally is similar to Steam Deck so the settings we are going to use are only slightly different than the Deck.
To optimize Metaphor: ReFantazio for Asus ROG Ally we are going to run this game on 900p. We can do 1080p as well, but it will be at the cost of battery life. I think the sweet spot is 900p.

What to Expect Performance Wise
With the settings I shared, you can get stable frame rates averaging between 35-37 FPS in open areas and up to 65-67 FPS during turn-based combat and menus.
On the other hand, when plugged into a power source, switching to a higher power mode can yield even smoother performance in Metaphor: ReFantazio. In some cases, I was able to hit 100 fps with dips into the 80s.
