Blue Prince is one of the most challenging and mind-boggling puzzle-adventure games. It tests players’ logic, critical thinking, memory, and creativity. As you explore the rooms in Blue Prince, you will come across various items that will help you reach Room 46, the elusive final chamber in the Mount Holly Estate where most of the game’s story, puzzles, and secrets take place.
One such item is a Bundle of Dynamite in the Trading Post. In this guide, we will discuss how you can use Dynamite in Blue Prince but also where to find them.
How to Get and Use Dynamite in Blue Prince
You need to access the Trading Post because this is area where you will find a bundle of Dynamites in Blue Prince. The Trading most is only accessible through the West Gate.
In order to get here, you will have to unlock the West Gate, which is quite a challenging quest in the game.
Upon opening the West Gate, you’ll have access to the Outer Room, which has a few different interesting rooms such as the Shrine, Hovel, Shelter, and Tomb.
In the Outer Room, you’ll notice the Dynamite on the left sitting on some barrels. You can pick it up, but beware, if you pick it up the game gives you a warning that doesn’t make sense.
The Dynamite serves no purpose yet.
To use it, you are going to need the one thing that can ignite it, which is a Burning Glass. To make a Burning Glass you need to draft a Workshop- which is a rare room that you can find in Blue Prince. Within the Workshop, combine a Looking Glass and a Metal Detector to craft the Burning Glass.
Go back to the Trading Post Outer Room and use the Burning Glass to ignite the fuse. The Explosive will create a hole in the wall that leads to the Hidden Room.
Now go back to the Trading Post and use the Burning Glass to light up the Dynamite. This will automatically take you out of the room. Wait for the explosion to happen, as it will reveal a hidden part of the Trading Post.
What is the Reward of Using the Dynamite in Blue Prince?
You will see a hole in the wall after blasting the Dynamite. Go through the damaged wall, and you will find a secret passage. Here you will find the following rewards.
- +40 Coins
- +1 Upgrade Disk
- A lore note
- Some Still Water
Here is a catch. If you keep on blasting the dynamite, you will get the coins every time, but the Upgrade Disk is available only for the first time. However, you will also need to bring the Burning Glass with you every time. If you are in dire need of gold and don’t know where to get it from, you can use this method repeatedly to gather some gold reserves.
