Blue Prince is surprisingly fun game to come out recently. It finally took me away from going nuts with Schedule 1 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Blue Prince is an amazing puzzle game and since its in the roguelike genre, I love it!
But as is the case with most games I write about, I always give you the save file location and Blue Prince is no different. Blue Prince is out on Steam to its save file is in our usual Steam spot.
Doesn’t matter if you are on Steam or Steam Deck, the path is pretty much the same.
Blue Prince Save File Location on PC
The path to Blue Prince save file on PC is as follows:

Your local save data resides in this directory regardless of playing through Steam or Xbox Game Pass.
The AppData folder might be hidden by default so you cannot view it.
You can make hidden items visible by opening File Explorer’s “View” tab and selecting the “Hidden items” checkbox.
Blue Prince Save File Location on Steam Deck
If you’re playing on a Steam Deck, the save files can be found at:
<SteamLibrary-folder>/steamapps/compatdata/1569580/pfx/
The game benefits from Steam Cloud functionality which maintains your progress between different devices.
Manual save file transfers between systems or clients require a backup of your save data to avoid corruption.
The Blue Prince has Steam Cloud support but you it is always best to backup your data manually.
