The variety of items and gear in Borderlands 4 is huge, and a player can easily get confused about what item to pick for their journey as a Vault Hunter. Repkits are consumable buffs that can turn the tables in your favor if used wisely.
One of these is the Shiny War Paint, which has great abilities. If you are struggling while getting the Shiny War Paint, then follow this guide.
How to Get the Shiny War Paint in BL4

You can get the Shiny War Paint Repkit as a drop after defeating the Meathhead Riders: Saddleback and the Immortal Boneface. Head to The Old Scrape Ripper Drill Site, located at the Cuspind Climb of the Terminus Range region.
This is where you will need to farm the bosses until you get the Shiny War Paint. If you don’t get it on your first try, worry not, as that’s why the Moxx’s Big Encore Machine is a thing. Use it and respawn the boss, then kill it. Keep doing this until you get the desired drop.

Tip: Use gear with bonus loot drop rate or Mayhem modifiers for a slightly better chance.
Alternate Method
Aside from a drop, you can also get the Shiny War Paint Repkit from red chests, golden key chests, and other bosses. However, the chances are pretty slim, so you are better off grinding the boss until it drops it. I recommend trying your luck at Shiny War Paint dropping from a Warden found near The Roaming Pasture in the Hungering Plain.

Let’s take a look at its abilities:
Manufactured by Torgue, the Shiny War Paint comes with a +30% fire rate to the guns and +30% movement to players for 15 seconds. Pretty solid for bosses and enemies that require high speed to be defeated.
Shiny War Paint also reduces the Repkit cooldown by 2s, that is, if you take damage. This means that if you get shot after using the Repkit, the cooldown timer to use the Replit will reduce over time, allowing for more frequent uses.
