There are some games that are always more appreciated later on but not at launch. Black Ops Cold War is one of those games that wasn’t very popular at the time it came out.

But the game is gaining new followers and this time on Asus ROG Ally. Thankfully since this is old game is runs very well on the ROG Ally handheld.

You can get pretty decent performance in both single and multiplayer modes.

For this game we will be using 25W TDP with a minimum of 6GB VRAM.

After setting the TDP and VRAM, use my custom preset with 1080p resolution on Black Ops Cold War.

You should easily get 45fps average on this with dips into 35fps. The game looks pretty decent in my opinion, and I don’t experience any crashes.

Before I let you go, if you are also looking to get into Black Ops 6, I do have settings recommendations for the latest Black Ops game on ROG Ally. Not just for ROG Ally, but also for Legion Go if you want to switch it up.
