CD Projekt RED has released patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 and with it, they added new customization features and made graphical improvements. In addition to customization features, we also have a new AutoDrive mode. It is exactly what the name suggests.
It takes away the driving mechanic from you and gives it to your vehicles. All vehicles go into AutoDrive mode and take you to your destination. All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful Night City.
But how do you turn on AutoDrive and more importantly, how to enjoy Night City sights with Cinematic Camera while in AutoDrive?
How to Use AutoDrive in Cyberpunk 2077
To enable AutoDrive in Cyberpunk 2077 you first need to start driving your vehicle. If you’re on PC press and Hold H but on console hold down the Left Stick. When the AutoDrive feature is active your vehicle will drive itself.
Set a marker on your map and the car or bike will take you there. If you have no marker set up then AutoDrive will simply drive around randomly in the Night City.
You can change camera positions with the d-pad on your controller or Q on your PC. While driving around if you are attacked or are in active combat, AutoDrive will not work.
How to Enable Cinematic Camera in AutoDrive in Cyberpunk 2077
To enable cinematic camera in during AutoDrive all you have to do is press and hold Q on PC or D-pad Right on the controller. When Auto Drive is active UI will disappear and a very pleasing cinematic camera. During this time you can also use camera mode to take great pictures.
