Cyberpunk 2077’s recent success is no secret. Despite its shaky launch, CDPR’s latest title has continued to perform incredibly well since the launch of Studio Trigger’s Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners, and future updates have helped the RPG rise even further in popularity.
In a recent report, the team even confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is now CDPR’s primary source of revenue. Days after this report, the game has clawed its way back to Steam’s top 10 bestsellers list.

Cyberpunk 2077 is being sold at a 65% discount for the next 10 days, knocking the price down to as low as $10.49, depending on the region. In the US, the game is being sold at a price of $20.99, and this sale has allowed it to secure a spot among the top 6 Steam bestsellers.
Excluding free-to-play titles and the Steam Deck, Cyberpunk 2077 is currently the 2nd best-selling title on the platform. This is important since CDPR likely intends to ensure its latest release continues to reach as many people as possible before big releases like The Witcher 4.
Player counts also remain impressive for a five-year-old game. In the last 24 hours, over 50K concurrent Steam players visited Night City, demonstrating strong momentum for the IP. At present, the game has already secured as many as 35 million sales.
Moreover, CDPR has made it available on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mac devices recently as part of its goal to bring as many people to Night City as possible. The RPG even joined Sony’s PS Plus catalogue not too long ago.
While the above image shows the progress on Steam alone, seasonal discounts, combined with Cyberpunk 2077’s wide availability across multiple platforms, mean that CDPR can continue to reap the benefits of its work as it prepares to release The Witcher 4.
The Witcher 4 is expected to launch at some point in 2027 or later, so there is still plenty of time to get lost in the many stories and activities of Night City.
