A new DLC, namely The Lost Harvest, has been added to Dune Awakening Chapter 2. At the beginning of the DLC, you are required to help the Dune Officers for The Fall of the Mithra quest.
At some point in the quest, you are required to activate the Aux power console, which a lot of players find confusing. Worry not, as this Dune Awakening Chapter 2 guide will make sure that you complete The Fall of Mithra quest easily.
How to Activate the Auxiliary Power Console in Dune Awakening
Below, I have broken the process into easier steps:
- Locate the three Dune Officers at the Griffin’s Reach crash site.
- After completing a string of prior contracts, Lieutenant Drangh will issue the Boosting the Signal contract.
- Repair the relay beacon and then return to Lt. Drangh about your findings.
- To find the relay, just follow the quest marker, and you will get to the top of the mountain where it lies.
The next task involves locating the Mithra side entrance and powering up the Auxiliary Console. Their location will be marked on the map. Make your way to the northern section of the Western Vermillius Gap to locate the Mithra side entrance.
Auxiliary Power Console Location
Climb the roof of the fallen harvester and go in through there, as the entrance isn’t actually to the side. See a crash site? Make your way towards it and start climbing the mountain wall. You will now reach the top of the fallen Mithra ship. Roam around, and you will eventually come across a door; head inside.
Go straight and then take a right. Keep going straight until you find a wall that was blasted open. Go through it, and you will see the console on your left. Interact with it to complete your task.
Reactivating the Distress Signal in Dune Awakening Chapter 2
Now that you have activated the Auxiliary Power Console, your next task is to reactivate the distress signal. Just like the console, we must find it first. We need access to the top floor of the ship, which requires an Identification Band to gain entry. Here’s how to find that:
- Firstly, exit the Auxiliary Console room.
- Go left and enter the doorway on the far corner on the left.
- You will see a gap. Jump over it and collect the Identification Band on the crate.
- You have now unlocked the entry for the top floor of the ship.
Go back to the room where you activated the Auxiliary Console. Take the doorway on the right and jump carefully across the flaming gap. After that, take a right, then climb the wall on the right.
You will encounter a doorway. Go through it, and you will see a console on the left. Interact with it, and the contract with Lt.Drangh is now completed.
