After going through a gauntlet of fan conventions (in the aptly named ConCon) in your quest to find and assassinate Senator Muppy Doo, you will have to head to HumanCon, where the actual fun begins. If you are struggling with defeating Muppy Doo in High on Life 2, then follow this guide.
How to Enter HumanCon in High on Life 2
After getting out of MurderCon, make your way straight to the pair of billboards for PoolCon right in front of you. To get across, jump and glide using the skateboard. Complete the parkour ahead, and you will end up at a platform overlooking HumanCon, which is where the Senator is currently hiding. Deal with all the spawned enemies, and you will come across a puzzle.
Find an unused generator around, which will serve as a starting point, but to proceed, you will require a Lugblob.
Find an infested crate nearby, and pick up the Lugblob.
Place the creature at the center of the platform. Create a connection between the generator and Lugblob using Sheath’s Q ability. After electrocuting the Lugbob, bridge the connection to the truck nearby, which should be holding another panel.
Jump off the rail slide circling the platform, and hold E to jump across when you see the set of perpendicular rails nearby.
At the end of the tram, you will see a green chest. Stab it with Knifey (do it quickly, or you’ll just fall off the tram) and claim a secret skateboard. Jump off the rails to get back to the starting point.
Entering HumanCon in High on Life 2
Complete the platforming section to be able to enter HumanCon. Bridge a connection between the food truck generator (from its right side) to the junction leading to the cartoonish human-shaped balloons. Complete the obstacle course, which might take some attempts as you will have to time your jumps just right.
Get into the makeshift rail, and jump off at the last moment to land on a balloon. Here is where things might get a little tough, as you will be jumping from one balloon to the next, and every misstep will end in a restart. I suggest you jump from one head to the other, and finally down to the baby human balloon’s backside, from which you should be teleported into the HumanCon grounds.
Now, you will see that the entrance to Muppy Doo has been blocked, and you will have to solve a puzzle before you can face off against the Senator.
Make your way to the infested stand beside the ConCon Patio Garden. For now, keep track of the location and tether a connection from the generator. Go to the center of the map to find two rotating puzzle pieces with a conductive tip. Shoot the middle section and have them point toward the stage.
Backtrack to the location that I told you to keep track of and grab the Lugblob. Use Gus’s suction ability to nab it quickly. Place it between the generator at the front of the exhibit and complete the circuit. Enter the exhibit, where a panicked Muppy Doo will call down his goons to finish you off.
Tips for Easily Defeating Muppy Duo
Defeating him isn’t going to be easy, as he can shrink down to hide away from you, which makes things a bit more complicated. There will be two phases, and I will take you through how to clear them easily.
Phase 1:
- Use the Time Bubble to slow him down, and shower him with bullets to lower his health. Just don’t rush; the fight won’t be over quickly.
- Early on in the fight, he will release some weird things out of his Funny Pack, including some very poorly trained bodyguards. You can easily defeat them as they don’t have much health.
- To empty that Funny Pack, keep hitting them and clearing everything he throws at you. Once it’s depleted, we move on to the next phase.
Phase 2:
- In the second phase, the Senator will shrink down and enter your suit, taking over critical functions.
- Switch back to the main menu (hit Esc), and funny things will start happening as you attempt to boot the Senator off your suit.
- You will have to force him out of your suit by any means necessary, even if it means destroying your suit and yourself in the process.
