In Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, your progress depends on how well you gather resources that are used for crafting valuable materials.
This guide explains how to make an armor set with +50 gathering in Fantasy Life I, which is particularly useful for Woodcutter, Miner, and Angler lives.
If you are someone who likes to play with different lives, then the armor I’m suggesting is perfect for you as it focuses on general bonuses like Gathering and Crafting.
Where to Get the Gear for +50 Gathering: Forager & Artisan King Sets in Fantasy Life i
To get such a high Gathering yield, you need to get Armor Sets that are obtained by completing specific Colosseum Quests on the last island. To Access Colosseum quests, you need to complete chapter six, and then you can go to island.
How to Rank Up in Colosseum Quest
In Fantasy Life i, you can’t just rank up by winning a single fight, the rank up happens after winning 4 battles in the Colosseum. After killing each monster, you will get rewards. The Forager King set comes as a reward for defeating Steel Tortoise (Brawler).

It is not neceassay that you win these four battles in a row
The two sets are that are best for Gathering and Crafting respectively are the Forager King Set and the Artisan King Set.
The Forager King Set gives you a +25 Gathering, while the Artisan King Set grants a +25 Crafting.
The Forager King and Artisan King sets cant be sold and no crafting recipe for these items exist in the game. So the only option is that you can remake it using Redux stones.
You can remake any piece in either set. However, there are some items that you can’t remake, like the Talisman that Ram gives you, as it doesn’t have any recipes. Plus, it can’t be sold.
How to Remake Forage and Artisan King Sets?
When you remake the King Armor Sets at the Redux shop. Each remake will cost you 5 Redux Stones. Forager King gear always rolls skills related to gathering lives, while Artisan King gear always rolls skills related to crafting.

You can remake the following armor pieces:
- Helm
- Gloves
- Vest (Chest piece)
- Sandals

You’ll never waste Redux Stones on unrelated rolls. You will always progress towards your goal except in one case. The exception here is the Forager King Cape, which looks cool, but it doesn’t roll gathering-specific skills. All it will do for you is increase the aesthetics and provide some random stats like Magic Defense or HP.

Avoid remaking the Cape, it does nothing really.
How to Get Redux Stones for Remaking
You can remake each piece of the King sets for better rolls at the redux shop. Here is what you will need for this process.
- 5 Redux stones per piece
- 4 total pieces per set (Helm, Gloves, Vest, Sandals)
It takes a total of 40 Redux Stones, at least if the entire process goes smoothly and you complete it in one go.
In addition, you will also need 1000x Blacksmithing for the process, so make sure you have the materials beforehand. You can get Redux Stones at the Collector’s shop in exchange of equipment that you don’t need anymore.
Crafting Boost Tip: If you want to get a +150 Crafting boost that can help you greatly during the remake process, don’t forget to make some smoothies.
After all the experimentation and tries, you’ll most probably end up with a +10 Woodcutting on Gloves (specific life bonus), +5 Gathering on a Smok (a general bonus), and +30 Artistry on a single item.
You might not get a +10 general bonus, as they seem capped lower than life-specific skills. With the right remakes you can hit Excellent Gathering every single time.
