Some choices in Fantasy Life i are permanent, while others are reversible. Knowing what choices are not permanent helps you make the decisions more freely. At the time of this writing, I was to determine that there are 5 choices in the game that are reversible.
In this quick guide, let’s go through every choice that isn’t permanent in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
#1: Character Creation

If you are just starting out and have already made your character, it may seem like your character is completely locked in. However, that is not the case. After a few chapters, when you get access to the Guild Office in Fantasy Life i, you can fully customize your character appearance and character name.
At the Guild Office, speak with Boyle to customize your character again.
#2: Island Name

Island name is another thing you can change later on in the game. Just like your character, you won’t able to change the Island name for a few chapters in the game. But after getting access to Guild Office at the Base Camp, you can speak with Boyle to change the Island Name in Fantasy Island i.
#3: Life Skill Distribution

Skills are also not permanent choices in Fantasy Life i. The way you may have distributed the skill points in the skill tree, can be changed for each Life’s Skill Tree. To do this, you need to speak with one of the Lips in any Guild Office. But remember that this entire process will cost you 10,000 Dosh every time you change distribution.
#4: Ginormosia Area Ranks

Area ranks in Ginormosia impact the overall difficulty of areas in this region. If you unlocked a rank that is too hard for you, go to any Tower and change it back to the lower rank.
All of these choices are temporary and reversible. But I would also like to mention that you can go back to Chapter 1 in case there are some things you missed before moving on.
