The story of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is huge and as you progress you unlock new things like Fort Gardhart, and more resources that you can use to upgrade merchants, Strangelings, armor, and skill trees.
As you progress, Marco will discuss how he needs upgrade to his shop so we can open up new slots at the Shop which means you can buy more items. More options, bigger inventory, who doesn’t like that?
This entire process is called Marco’s 1-Star Shop rating request in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
Marco’s 1-Star Shop Rating Request Walkthrough
So the first thing you need to do is upgrade / expand Guild Office and only then speak with Marco about his request to expand the shop. There are 5 materials you need to complete Marco’s 1-Star Shop Rating Request:
- Mushroom Quiche (Good or Excellent Quality)
- Cherry Lumber
- Iron Ingot
- HP Potion (Good or Excellent Quality)
- Wool
The best way to get higher quality items is to master the crafting mini-game but also make sure to match or exceed the Recommended Skill Level.
Higher Quality Mushroom Quiche Recipe
Get the Cook Life and gather the following ingredients to start cooking Mushroom Quiche:
- 2x Chicken Eggs
- 1x Milk
- 2x Mushroom
When you have all the cooking ingredients the next step is to make sure you use good equipment or hire a Buddy to boost your chances of getting a higher quality Mushroom Quiche.
How to Get Iron Ingot in Fantasy Life i
Level up Blacksmith Life from Fledgling to Apprentice to unlock the Iron Ingot Recipe in Fantasy Life i. To start crafting you need 3x Faraway Ingots to craft 1x Iron Ingot.
The required items you need are available at Marco’s Shop or Faraway Island’s Materials Shop. Alternately, you can mine Iron Ore Deposit in The Depths and other areas to get Faraway Iron.
How to Get Cherry Lumber in Fantasy Life i
Start with upgrading Carpentry Life from Fledgling to Apprentice to unlock the Cherry Lumber crafting recipe. To get 1x Cherry Lumber you need 3x Cherry Logs in Fantasy Life i.
Head to the forest to cut down trees to get Cherry Logs or spend Dosh to purchase them from the shops. Look for Cherry Logs in Faraway Island, or Pettlewing Woods in Ginormosia. And if you are in Lulab Forest, I suggest going to Southeastern Valley of Spirits to face Pseudo Cherry enemy that drops the items you need.
Higher Quality HP Potion Recipe
To start brewing potions you need the Alchemist License in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Get some Healweed and an Alchemist Buddy that has good equipment to start brewing the potion. Healweed is available from the shops but there are alternate ways to get it for free.
How to Get Wool in Fantasy Life i
You need Tailor Life and some Sheep Fleece to make Wool in the game. All required materials are available from the Materials Shop in the Capital Tool Shop in Ginormosia. You can also try Marco’s Shop and in case you don’t want to spend any money, take down the White Woolie in the Capital to get free Wool.
Once you have the materials, go to a Workbench to craft Wool.
With the all the items in hand you can expand Marco’s shop and complete 1-Star Rating Request.
