Right off the bat, I am going to tell you that MSI Claw and Forza Horizon 5 aren’t the best match. Especially if you’re looking for quality graphics. However, if your goal is stable FPS where the game runs smooth, yes, you can easily achieve that by tweaking some settings.
I was able to run the game at around 60 to 70 FPS at full HD 1080p. But that is only achievable through LOW preset.
Here are my recommended MSI Claw Forza Horizon 5 settings.
- Motion Blur Quality: LOW
- Environmental Texture Quality: LOW
- Anisotropic Filtering: LOW
- Reflection Quality: LOW
- Shadow Quality: LOW
- Shader Quality: LOW
- SSR Quality: LOW
- World Car Level of Detail: LOW
- Environmental Geometry Quality: LOW
- Brightness: 100%
- XeSS: Performance

And the following settings are turned OFF:
- Night Shadows: OFF
- MSAA: OFF
- FXAA: OFF
- SSAO Quality: OFF
- Deformable Terrain Quality: OFF
- Lens Effect: OFF
Drivers and BIOS versions:
- Graphics Driver: 31.0.101. 5445
- MSI Claw BIOS: E1T41IMS.106
One thing to note here is that some BIOS settings do have an impact on the game’s performance. For example, disable VT-d to gain at least 10% performance boost across all presets in Forza Horizon 5.
