Signals and Stashes mission in Grounded 2 will have you looking for 2 O.R.C transmitter locations. One of them is at the Picnic Table while the other transmitter is sitting on top of the Garbage Can. Finding their locations is not the only challenge, getting to them is the real problem.
There are many environmental hazards along the way such as “Chilling” and Toxic Gas so it goes without saying that you need to craft a gas mask, which is crafted at a Workbench.
How to Reach the Picnic Table O.R.C. Transmitter
Start by heading to the Picnic Table, located just north of the Snackbar, where the game started. Start by heading to the Picnic Table, located just north of the Snackbar. These paths will loop around and take you up the table. When you reach the bench, you must cross over to the other side.
From here you have two options:
- Take the cobweb bridges on the left
- Or use the croquet mallet path hidden on the right
No matter which route you take there will be some bugs to deal with, but the croquet mallet is easier to take down. Next, make your way through the Picnic Fridge Cooler, located near the Briefcase. Although the game warns you about the freezing temperatures and suggests equipping cold-resistant gear, you can actually dash up the ramp and survive just fine.
FYI, there is a Milk Molar inside the cooler and some blueberries lying around on the table, so you may want to come back at some point to pick it up or just do it now.
Once you exit the cooler, get up the blanket in the middle of the tabletop, and you’ll find the O.R.C transmitter. Activate it to complete the first objective.
How to Reach the Garbage Can O.R.C. Transmitter
As I mentioned at the start of this guide, you’ll need a Gas Mask to complete this mission. And this is the objective where it comes in handy. You first need to unlock the workbench and then gather 1x Weevil Nose, 4x Gnat Fuzz, 2x Crude Rope, and 1x Stinkbug Part.
Note: What you actually require is the Gas Guard effect which also comes from Gastro Goo smoothie. A Gas Mask is a much better option but if you have Gastro Goo smoothies you can take those with you.
When you have the Gas Guard effect, it is time to go to the Garbage
First, go to the wooden ledge on the west side of the area—the one that looks down into the bin. A branch leans into the bin through a split. Walk the branch carefully, then jump to the banana that’s a little to your right.
After you land on the banana, turn and jump to the crumpled paper just above you.
From here, keep climbing around and around the bin. You’ll cross branches, slide along ropes, and hop over bits of old junk. Watch your step, one slip and you’ll fall.
Soon you’ll hit the last ledge. An O.R.C. cockroach will be chilling on the transmitter here. Take it out, then press on the transmitter.
Once both transmitters are active, your final objective will be to find the O.R.C soldiers by the Ice Cream Truck. Clear the robo-bees to complete the Signals and Stashes mission in Grounded 2.
