If you’re playing Hogwarts Legacy and want to master healing during battles, the Wiggenweld Potion is the one for you. There are two ways to get yourself this potion, you can either brew the recipe I will share below or buy the potion for Gold.

Moreover, at any time you can have a max of 25 Wiggenweld Potions in your inventory. What you need to do is use your potions wisely to make room. Also it is a good idea to go through your inventory often and clear out what you don’t need to make room for what is more valuable to you.

Brewing the Wiggenweld Potion Recipe

You’ll need two key ingredients to craft this potion: Dittany Leaves and Horklump Juice. Once you have these, follow these steps:

  1. Find a Potion Station — these become available after you attend your Potions class in the game.

  1. Combine one Dittany Leaf with one unit of Horklump Juice at the station.
  2. Wait for the brewing process to complete, which usually takes around 15 seconds.

If you want to keep a steady supply of healing potions, you can place multiple Potion Stations in your Room of Requirement. This way, potions brew automatically.

Horklump Juice is a common find in caves and dungeons especially if you are looking in Horklump Hollow in Upper Hogsfield. Also these nodes are respawn every three in game days.

As for Dittany Leaves, they can be grown in the Room of Requirement in pots. The seeds for them are available The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade.

Tip:

How to Use the Wiggenweld Potion

Depending on your platform, the method to consume the potion varies slightly:

  • On Xbox and PlayStation: Press the Down button on your controller’s D-pad to drink the potion whenever your health is low.
  • On PC, open your Tool Wheel (the default key is Tab), select the Wiggenweld Potion, and activate it.

How Many Wiggenweld Potions Can You Carry?

A couple of things to keep in mind: you can carry a maximum of 25 Wiggenweld Potions at once. Also, the potion only works when your health is not full — it won’t have any effect if you try to use it at full health.

Tips

  • Upgrade your potion’s power: As you progress in game gain more points in talents that increase the healing effect of your Wiggenweld Potions.
  • Automate brewing: Set up several Potion Stations in the Room of Requirement for continuous potion crafting.
  • If you don’t have the require ingredients you can also buy wiggenweld potion from J. Pippins for 100 Coins.
  • In the Room of Requirement we have the “jumping pot” which at times produces Wiggenweld Potions. This method is less reliable but does supplement your supply.
