It took me a long time to find all Hollow Knight Silksong mask shards, so I thought why not help everyone else out too. If you’re looking for mask shards too, then this is a complete guide on how to find them all.
Know that mask shards are hidden behind basic jump puzzles, and they might sound easy, they’re not. Seeing how less than 1% of Steam players have gathered them all, safe to say these jump puzzles are hard to complete.
All 8 Mask Shard Locations in Hollow Knight Silksong
Mask Shard Location #1 (From Bone Bottom Shop)
The first shard location is from the Bone Bottom shop, from where you can buy the shard for 300 Rosaries.
Mask Shard Location #2
The second mask shard is located in the west of Mosshome as a point on the map by red circle. Enter the room and there will be a creature hanging from the room. The large creature will throw lava kind of stuff on you, hide under the ledges and continue to move left.
Next you will reach an area where there is a cave with keyhole in hit, drop from there in the water and hit the right corner to break the wall. The shard is behind the wall.
Mask Shard Location # 3
The third shard is located in the Fairfield and before going there you need Drifter’s cloak. The Drifter’ cloak is acquired by completing the quest Seamstress. Once you reach there you need to break the platforms using the cloak. By breaking the platform you will unlock wind that will drift you upwards to your left.
Once you reach there, a giant yellow stone is stuck on the wall, hit it. You won’t be able to reach there by jump just break the platform near it and use wind to break it down.
Once it drops the third mask shard location is under the rock that will be revealed after it breaks the surface above it.
Mask Shard Location # 4
The next mask shard location is located in the Shellwood after you have finished Haunted Bellhart. The shard will be in a tall room where you will find Shakra and flea.
Once you reach, there is a breakable wall on the right corner. Break it to get the fourth shard to complete the Hornet’s Mask.
Mask Shard Location # 5
Another mask shard location is in Deep Docks, behind a locked door. The locked door can be opened from the Marrow side not from here.
Before reaching there you will face four enemies not quite difficult to kill. Kill them and get the next Shard.
Mask Shard Location # 6
Now head to the Weavenest Atla, jump upwards and move through a door that will be to your right. Stay on the path until you reach a room filled with lava. There will be a spider hanging from the roof.
Complete the lava puzzle and reach bugs. Avoid lava and go to the wall towards your right and then left to get the 6th Shard.
Mask Shard Location # 7
The 7th Mask Shard location Hollow Knight Silksong is located in Choral chambers as pointed on the map by red circle.
Rest at the bench in Cogwork core and go down to the left side and move until there is an opening that will lead you to the choral chambers, where the Mask shard is.
Mask Shard Location # 8
To get the last Mask Shard complete the quest of The Wandering Merchant, and head back to Songclave. Once you reach there you will meet a new merchant who will sell Mask shard for 750 Rosaries, in game currency.
