The Auto Battle feature in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is just as it sounds. It fights for you, meaning you don’t have to do a single thing during a fight. This feature is pretty useful, but comes with downsides as well. Understanding this feature before using it can be helpful.

How Does Auto Battle Even Work?

The Auto Battle feature can be enabled by pressing the H key on the keyboard or changing the in-game settings for mobile. It is automatically unlocked after completing the tutorial.

You can select which particular skill to use in battle. Just select or deselect the skill from the hotbar at the bottom of the screen. The Auto Battle option is designed to pick any random skill that isn’t on cooldown, which is why I suggest you select the skill you want to use. Assigning the recommended skill for auto-battle can help as well.

As this feature is mainly spam, it’s pretty useful during farming for XP and resources. Considering this, set the basic attack to auto, spam the basic attack skills with no cooldown, and use the special ones manually. A pretty effective method for farming low to mid-level enemies.

Auto Battle is best for:

  • Farming low-level enemies: Perfect for collecting drops or completing repeatable quests.
  • Grinding XP passively: Gain experience while focusing on other in-game tasks.
  • Long farming sessions: Reduces fatigue when you need to defeat dozens (or hundreds) of mobs.

Should I Always Use the Auto Battle Feature?

From everything I have mentioned so far, you don’t have a reason not to use the Auto Battle feature. However, this feature is not recommended while facing dungeons, story missions, or PvP battles, as it is designed mainly for spamming attacks.

So, using it against higher-level dungeons and bosses is not a good idea, as they require strategic attacks. Strategic thinking is where the Auto Battle feature lacks, so you will have to go through the higher-level fights manually.

Overall, the Auto Battle feature is pretty useful if you want to stay AFK or kill enemies for farming XP and resources. But if we move on to the higher-level enemies, this feature doesn’t perform as good. So it’s suggested you take care of the fight manually.

Let’s take a look at some builds that work best for Auto Battle.

  • Verdant Oracle: A really effective class that provides automated healing, keeping the party healthy during the fight.
  • Shield Knight: A tanky class, which excels in defense and self-healing abilities, allowing it to survive to the end while Auto Battle is on.
  • Marksman: A class with low attack cooldowns, which makes it ideal for the Auto Battle process.

But the Auto Battle system is not for all situations which means sometimes you need to avoid it. DO NOT use it during boss fights or dungeon runs because you will get overwhelmed really fast. Challenging quests or elite zones are also situations where you should avoid using it.

I also don’t recommend using Auto Battle in co-op missions.

That’s all for this Blue Protocol: Star Resonance guide on everything you need to know about the Auto Battle feature. I hope that you found this guide helpful.
