How to Follow Johnny in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance
You will need to follow Johnny, a running Asterfeeds Defense Corps soldier, and not let him out of sight. One thing you should look out for during the process is smoke bombs, which can temporarily blind you.
Keep following him, and at the end of the chase, you will see that Johnny is nowhere to be found, and there is just a blue crate present. This is where players get confused. Just hit the crate a couple of times to encounter Johnny hiding in disguise.
This all starts near the ports, where an Asterfeeds Defense Corps soldier makes a run for it into the city. You, being a good citizen, decide to catch him by saying, “Damn it! That one ran off that way! There must be something hidden after him!”
Following the Right Path While Chasing Johnny in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance
While you are trying to play hero, it would be a shame if you didn’t know which path to take, so let’s fix that.
Firstly, take left and then right, and you will come across a pile of boxes near a wall. You will need to jump on them, and you will reach a marketplace, where you will need to take a right first and then a left into an alleyway. Head right once again into the alley and climb up the stairs, where you will find the soldier who will try to agro you by saying, “You’re so slow! I’ve been waiting for ages! Catch me if you can!” Don’t worry, his end is near.
After saying that, he will jump off and run away. Make sure not to lose sight of him and quickly go after him. Here’ what to do:
- You will also need to jump with him to the neighboring rooftop, where you jump to the roof where the soldier was standing.
- This is when you encounter your first smoke bomb marked with a red circle on the roof.
- Avoid it and jump onto the road to chase Johny.
- You will need to dodge two more smoke bombs by jumping around over them while the soldier takes a right towards the market.
- He will try to run from the alleyway beside the staircase.
- Follow him into the alleyway, and he will go missing.
- Don’t worry, you haven’t missed something. Just hit the big box in the center of the alley to reveal Johnny’s disguise.
- Stop attacking when Johnny says, “Stop! Stop! I’m coming out!”
- After that, Catch the Escaping Johnny Chase quest in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will end. To complete the mission, skip or wait for the cutscene to finish.
