Some monsters and fishes only appear during certain seasons and time of day. Here are the effects of seasons you’ll see in the game.

How to Change Season in MH Wilds
Go to your personal tent and select the “rest” option. You can do this at regional base camp or a pop up campsite. The rest option might not appear until you unlock High Rank.
Select the BBQ menu → choose Rest.
In the Rest menu, select Environment → pick from:
- Plenty: Lush resources, calm herbivores (ideal for gathering).
- Fallow: Scarce resources, aggressive predators (good for rare hunts).
- Inclemency: Extreme weather, apex predators (e.g., Frostwinds, Sandtide)
Each season change will cost 300 Guild Points.
How to Change Time of Day in MH Wilds
The process is the same for this.
Time of day is also changed through the BBQ menu at regional base camp or a pop up campsite. You can switch time to:
- Morning
- Daytime
- Evening
- Nighttime
