Monster Hunter Wilds allows you to change and adjust the language and voice of Palico. You can adjust the language and voice during the Palico creation menu but if you want to later change, you can easily do so.

Your Palico in MW Wilds has a mellow, Felyne dialect, meaning it only use meows and purrs in speech, so you have to use a subtitle to catch its meaning.

Similarly when you set the voice type, your Palico will speak whatever language your game is set to, just like it would for all other audio.

If you skip these options during creation, you can still adjust them later without needing a Character Edit Voucher.

How to Change the Palico’s Language

Open the Options Menu when in-game and then go to the Audio tab. Head to the very bottom of the list where you can find the Felyne Language option. This option lets you switch between the Felyne Language and the Set Voice Type.

The second option is to go to the tent and select Change Appearance option. This allows you to switch Palico’s voice between human and Felyne. You can also adjust the pitch of its voice.

How to Change the Palico’s Voice

During the character creation you can choose between masculine or feminine voice types. Customize pitch using a 10-level slider to match your Palico’s personality.

The alternate method is going to your tent through the “Change Appearance” option.
