How to Craft Items With Extra Materials in Fantasy Life i
To start things off you must go to the Skill Board and unlock the required Skill Node. In this case, it is the Extra Materials ability that we need to start crafting. The Extra Materials ability requires 10 skill points to unlock but you need to have Adept Rank in your corresponding life before you can unlock Extra Materials ability in Fantasy Life i.

To Rank Up in any Life in Fantasy Life i, you need to complete Life quests. It is a simple process and the Adept rank doesn’t take much time to unlock.
Since this skill is tied to the crafting life, go to the crafting bench and find out what items you need to craft to complete quests. All items tied to a Life’s Quests will have a Life logo in front of them, making it easier to track. The next step is to start finding crafting materials for each required item for the Life Quest, items like the Flame Hood for example.
How to Use Appliques and Stickers in Fantasy Life i
Once you have access to the Extra Materials ability in Fantasy Life i, you can start using Appliques and Stickers.
Head over to the crafting bench where we will start crafting. Select the Buddy you want to assist you and then choose Extra Materials in the Extra Mats box. Clicking on the box will show you how many and what Extra Mats you have right now.
Select the materials you want to use and that’s it!
Something that is of note here is that if you are planning to add extra mats to Tool, then you can only add Golem Stickers.
How to Get Extra Materials Like Appliques and Stickers
There are two Primary ways to get Extra Mats in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. First is that you upgrade Marco’s Shop and buy Extra Materials from Dosh.
Another way is to Craft Appliques with the Tailor Life or Stickers with the Artist Life in Fantasy Life i. As for any secondary ways to get them, yes, you can collect them when they randomly spawn in the game.
