In fact, some of the build customizations items such as Class Goblets that allow you to chance Relic Color Slots are also only available at certain merchants in the game.

All Merchant Locations in Elden Ring Nightreign

There are four locations where merchants are readily available:

  1. Outside Ruins
  2. Outside Forts
  3. The Castle
  4. Churches
  5. Main Encampments

Merchant locations are random but they are always spawning at these locations so if you are trying to find one, head over to one of these locations to split up if you are in multiplayer mode.

The merchant that is 100% guaranteed in one location is the guy who runs the Small Jar Bazaar at the Roundtable Hold. He will always be there and sells consumables, Goblets, and other items that are used to customize your character.

What to Buy from a Merchant in Elden Ring Nightreign

The inventories of Merchants are random but if you aren’t in offline mode but instead are hunting a Nightlord, the merchant will always have a weapon that matches the weakness of the boss you are hunting down.

So if you have Murk and Relics to spare, always pick up the boss weapon from the merchant. The second most useful item merchants have is the consumables. You can get some Warming Stones, Tear Flasks, and Pickled Turtle Necks for your Expedition.
