The drug empire in Schedule 1 relies on the best recipes and the right ingredients, but sometimes it is nice to take a break from the grind and enjoy the finer things in Hayland. Shrooms Update (v0.4.2) dropped just before the holidays on December 26, 2025. This patch brought magic mushrooms as a new mid-to-late-game drug, a temperature system for growing mushrooms, new NPCs, and some killer cosmetics like the Mushroom Hat.
If you want to dress like the Shroom King of Hyland Point, then the Mushroom Hat is the best cosmetic in the game right now.

Where to Find the Mushroom Hat in Schedule I
It’s purely cosmetic, costs a measly $75 cash, and sells exclusively from Fungal Phil, the trippy new supplier. But unlocking it requires grinding rep in Downtown.
To get things rolling, head to Downtown and befriend Elizabeth Homley or Kevin Oakley (Supermarket worker). You need to grind your way to the friendly status with one of them, and eventually, they will introduce you to Phill via Vibin’ On The ’Cybin” quest.
After the quest you need to grind your way to Friendly status with Fungul Phill as well.

At Friendly, Phil may text you or open phone > Phil > “We need to meet up”. He’ll pick a spot which usually is West construction site or under the West Bridge in Downtown.
Go to his location and buy the Mushroom Hat from him for $75. After the hat you can also pick up Mushroom Spawn Station ($1,500 from Oscar), Beds ($200), AC Unit ($1,800). Keep temps <15°C. Assign Botanists for passive income.
