There are no full legendary sets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows but there are legendary weapons and gear you can chase down. One of the best pieces of legendary weapons, if you like Katanas, is the Bloodshade Katana.
But how to get the Bloodshade Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Fortunately, the location of the Bloodshade Katana is pretty simple to find. It is on a big boat off the shore of Osaka in AC Shadows. You’ll need to take a boat there to swing if you can’t hitch a ride.
Bloodshade Katana Location
The boat we are looking for is a Japanese Castle boat. As the name suggests, there is a tiny castle on the boat. When you sneak onto the boat, go to the first floor via the ladder on the ground floor.
On this first floor there is a legendary chest that has the Bloodshade Katana. The chest is guarded by a level 17 enemy to make sure you match or surpass his level to easily get to the chest.

The Bloodshade Katana will scale depending on your level. For example, I was level 16 in the game when I opened the Legendary chest on the boat. I got a level 19 Bloodshade Katana from the Legendary Chest.
The higher your character level is, the higher the Katana’s level will be. Of course, you can later upgrade it like all other weapons.
There is one engraving on the Bloodshade Katana but you can add a second one on its empty slot by visiting the Blacksmith in your hideout.
