Upgrading your Refiner in ARC Raiders is a must. To upgrade it to level 3, a key item that you will need are Bombardier Cells. Unlike other materials that you can get just by exploring, Bombardier Cells can only be acquired by taking down the elite Bombardier ARC units.

How to Get Bombardier Cells in ARC Raiders
As I mentioned above, you can only get Bombardier Cells by defeating the Bombardier ARC units. Here are some possible locations for them to spawn:
- Dam Battlegrounds: Between the Water Treatment and Loading Bay
- Buried City: Marana Park, Santa Maria Houses / Plaza Rosa
- Blue Gate: Raider’s Refuge in the Forest, Warehouses.

How to Kill Down Bombardier Units
See those spotter drones circling the Bombardier? Take them down first as will continuously reveal your location.
- Aim for the joints of its legs or the back side, which will have a yellow tint.
- Using ranged weapons is the key to defeat the Bombardier. Make good use of those grenades and attack it from a good distance.
- A shotgun player? Your best bet is to attack it from the behind, which will be completely exposed and serves as its weak point.
- Have someone in your team act as a bait, which will shift the focus of the Bombardier to them, making it easier for you to attack it.
- Use powerful weapons like the Hullcracker to destroy the Bombardier.
- Keep attacking its weak points, and you will easily take it down.
