As I mentioned above, there are a total of 4 potion upgrades you can do in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. Each upgrade will require some effort to unlock. Aside from an extra potion, you will also get some buffs.
Arcanism Upgrades cost Gold and crafting materials (primarily Slime Shards from slimes, plus rares like Sun Eater, Echo Link, etc., dropped by enemies/breakables/bosses).
Prioritize Extra Potion upgrades first for more uses, then Max Health and Potion Healing (+5 health per potion per upgrade). All are permanent, no respec.

With these upgrades alone, you will have a total of 5 potions. If you are looking for more potions, I suggest you go and explore dungeons.
You will also require a ton of Gold and Slime Shards for the upgrades. Gold can be obtained by selling relics, and Slime Shards drop from pink blobs in the Kalina map. After that, just talk to Eris to get your desired upgrades.
